This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette came to us looking sharp, but the old drivetrain needed some serious attention. It was worn out and the owner was looking for more power and reliability. We got to work, starting by pulling out the old wiring harness and completely rewiring the car with an American Autowire setup. The engine compartment got a fresh coat of paint before we dropped in a Blueprint 383 Stroker with a Holley Sniper EFI. To support the EFI, we added a Tanks Inc. fuel tank with all custom fuel lines. We paired the stroker with a 700R4 overdrive transmission from Speedway Motors, using a Lokar shift mechanism and a custom driveshaft from Arizona Driveshafts. The original gauges weren’t cutting it, so we upgraded to Dakota Digital RTX gauges in order to better monitor the beast. Once the new motor was wired and fired, our friends at All Out Tuning dialed in a custom tune to make sure it was performing at its best. And to keep things running cool, we installed a LEEDS radiator/fan/shroud combo with a radiator overflow from Vintage Parts of Arizona. This Corvette is back on the road with plenty of power and ready to turn heads!
